The day before Valentine’s Day, the mogul posted two selfies for her 230 million and counting followers to ooh and aah over — and we’re sure they oohed and aahed as much as we did once we saw Lopez’s version of glazed donut skin.
If you’ve been living under a rock or just off social media (unlike some of us, who are on 24/7 — yes, we are guilty), glazed donut skin is essentially extra dewy skin. It became a big trend thanks to Hailey Bieber in the spring of 2022 and has been seen everywhere since.
Lopez’s selfies showcased a perfect execution of the trend, seeing how radiant she looked. She captioned the two photos, “dewy, glowy and glazed,” which is a clear nod to the glazed donut skin trend. Glazed donut skin usually comes bare — though Lopez is wearing makeup in the photos, we all know that the secret to glowing makeup starts with a great skin-care routine; we’re sure she used products from her own brand, JLo Beauty, because she tagged the brand in her caption.
Her soft glam makeup included eyes rimmed with black eyeliner, bronzed cheeks, and glossy lips in a nude hue. It looks like even a little bit of highlighter could have been added to her cheekbones for extra glow. But you can still see that radiance elsewhere, like on the tip of her nose, her chin, and even her forehead.
