The surprising look was created by makeup artist Scott Barnes, who basically crafted the signature “J.Lo glow” in the first place. He gave the star a smoky gray eye with a bold lash and fluffed on a bright pink blush to match the lipstick. According to Barnes, the lip color in question is “top secret” for now, leading us to believe it could be a new product from his makeup line. Magenta lipstick may be a new terrain for Lopez, but it really pops on her; besides, everyone is still feeling the Barbie effect and thinking pink, even the biggest stars in the world.

Lopez wore the pink lip with a matching pink and white floral dress and mini bag, and hairstylist Lorenzo Martin pulled her hair back in a sleek, tight chignon, a go-to style for the star if there ever was one. When you put the pieces together, the look is a little bit classic, a little bit colorful and totally Lopez.
