Welcome to April, Virgo. Your ruling planet, messenger Mercury, begins one of its infamous retrogrades this month, but you’ve got this. During March, your wellness routines came to the forefront, inspiring you to dive deep into self-care, whether you’re investing in a proper skin care regimen or figuring out your ideal sleep schedule. When Mercury (which is still direct at this time) enters sensual Taurus on Monday, April 3, those close to you, such as best friends or lovers, may turn to you for wellness advice. Virgos are the healers of the zodiac, after all, so tap into this side of yourself and share your self-care secret with your inner circle. You may even be inspired to blog or make TikToks to let the public in on your Virgo self-care superpowers.

However, put your phone down and try to limit screen time during the full moon in Libra on Wednesday, April 5. You may feel drained during this lunation and slightly anxious. This is a night to put the “self” in self-care. Allow yourself to indulge in sloth, kick back and read or catch up on your favorite show, and remember that you can check to see how your TikToks are doing after the stress of the full moon passes.

You’ll be in the mood for getting off the couch and going out when pretty Venus enters chatty Gemini and your 10th House of Social Status on Monday, April 10. Take your friends up on offers to hang out, say yes to dates (that you want to go on, that is), or host a small dinner party at your place. The second week in April is the best time out of the whole month for socializing, as the next week, on Wednesday, April 19, brings a new moon and chaotic solar eclipse in fiery Aries. Eclipses cause swift and sudden change. This isn’t always a bad thing, but it can be stressful. If you’ve been putting off ending a toxic relationship or leaving a bad job, this eclipse may go ahead and do that for you. Basically, eclipses can cause enough drama and change to process on their own, so you don’t want to add fuel to the fire by partying too hard. If anyone invites you out around this time, and you just want to be a homebody, tell them that your astrologer told you to take it easy.

The sun enters Taurus, kicking off Taurus season on Thursday, April 20. The next few weeks are a time for growth and abundance. Your schedule gets busy, and if you continue practicing self-care, you feel happily productive. Just remember to give yourself downtime to avoid burnout. This is particularly important to remember once your ruling planet, Mercury, goes retrograde on Friday, April 21. It’s true that Mercury’s backward dance can affect you more than other signs, but as long as you remember that you’re the healer of the zodiac, proofread important emails, and allow extra travel time, you’ll be a-okay. See you next month!
