North West is a hilarious child. In April, she became a meme during The Daily Front Row’s Fashion Awards when she swiftly swooped her edges immediately after hugging Chris Appleton, who was being awarded. Now she’s making me laugh once again with a super cute video showing how she does a slicked-back ponytail with help from her mom, Kim Kardashian.
The clip starts with the duo standing in front of seven different hair products. Kardashian’s hair is piled on her head in a messy bun while West’s hair cascades towards her waist in loose waves. The styling starts with Kim spritzing her daughter’s hair with water, and then West parted her hair down the middle with a rat tail comb.
After that, her mom applies Bed Head After Party Super Smoothing Cream to her daughter’s hair and then proceeds to oil West’s scalp. Next up the duo applied several helpings of Got 2B Glued Spiking Gel — they used two versions of the gel, the original and Ultra Glued.
And if you thought they were done applying holding products, think again. After smoothing mousse, spraying hairspray, and brushing her hair several times, the slicked-back style was finally done. What made this video even more entertaining was West lipsyncing a modified version of “Maria Maria” with lots of drama.
