Just as the sun was setting in Los Angeles, Gigi Hadid opened the Versace show on a rooftop overlooking the Hollywood Hills with her long, blonde hair blowing behind. The wind did its job — along with some impeccable styling.
So much of what we saw backstage made us want to do more than simply run a brush through our ends and jet out the door. Exhibit A: The intricate rose bun at Christian Siriano that turned the classic chignon into a work of sculpture. Exhibit B: The gemstone-embellished ponytails at Erdem that shined bright. Exhibit C: The overwhelming amount of bows tied all over models’ hair at Sandy Liang that somehow, someway, worked beautifully.

It’s all in the details. And even if on most days air-drying will take precedence over spending 30 minutes on an extravagantly twisted updo, we aren’t going to forget this inspiration for those days when the clock is more forgiving.
