Even with a makeup bag full of products, we still have questions… Will it ever be possible to draw on winged liner in one try? Is there a faster way to execute an over-the-top smokey eye? Does a concealer exist that covers dark circles without a cakey finish by lunchtime? This month, however, brands have delivered those answers in the form of innovative products — and we took it as a sign to upgrade our routine.

Modeled after professional paintbrushes, Urban Decay 24/7 Inks Liquid Liners practically give you artistic hands. With Hourglass‘s new shadow sticks, all you have to do is scribble them on, and voilà — you have a masterpiece in the form of sultry eyes. Valentino‘s concealer works like magic after a sleepless night to give you a glowing canvas. And be sure to swipe on a few coats of Maybelline‘s volumizing mascara for a dramatic finishing touch.

When it comes to our manicures, we want colors that wow and finishes that gleam. Olive & June (with a collection of bright lacquers) and Sundays (with a trio of shimmering chrome paints) have just the nail polishes we have been looking for — and can’t wait to get our hands on.

At the same time, some products are so ridiculously beautiful (as in practically museum-worthy!) — like Richard Quinn‘s collaboration with MAC, featuring lipsticks, eyeliners, and a pastel palette — you almost don’t want to use them. But, also, how could you resist? The same could be said about Guerlain‘s darling new lipstick, all dressed up in a denim ensemble.

Here, our favorite new makeup and nail products launching in March.

Urban Decay 24/7 Ink Liquid Liner

You don’t have to be Frida Kahlo to pick up this long-wearing Urban Decay 24/7 Ink Liquid Liner. Inspired by an artist’s paintbrushes, the ergonomically designed handle makes sharp, winged eyeliner doable — even for the most unsteady of hands. There is a sleek, matte-black shade and soft, chocolate brown, but we have our eyes on the more colorful hues like sky blue, bright teal, and electric yellow.

Glow Recipe Strawberry BHA Pore-Smooth Blur Drops Primer

Have you ever wondered if primer was really necessary?  Prep with Glow Recipe Strawberry BHA Pore-Smooth Blur Drops before applying makeup — and thank us later. Sure, your foundation will last throughout an entire workday, but this serum does more: Mattifying ingredients (such as tapioca and rice) help to create a blurring effect for a soft finish, while BHAs gently exfoliate for smoother skin long-term.

Valentino Very Valentino Concealer

A concealer is supposed to conceal spots (such as dark circles or blemishes) — not cause more concerns like drying and caking. Valentino Very Valentino Concealer does exactly that. Beyond some impressive coverage (tired-looking eyes don’t stand a chance!), the silky, lightweight formula is infused with caffeine to depuff, plus vitamin E to hydrate and, therefore, prevent creasing.

Sundays Pearl Nail Polish Collection

If you’re like Hailey Bieber and glazed donut nails have become part of your personality, you’re going to love this Sundays Pearl Nail Polish Collection. Two coats are all you need for a manicure that catches the light. Choose from an iridescent cream that’s reminiscent of your favorite pearl earrings, a metallic ocean blue, or an opalescent pink. They all shine!

Maybelline New York Falsies Surreal Extensions Mascara

Like a quality round brush that creates an ultra-bouncy blowout, this Maybelline New York Falsies Surreal Extensions Mascara wand will give your lashes some oomph. The twisted bristles grab every last, little hair and coat them with fibers for a finished look that rivals lash extensions — without all the commitment or upkeep.

Olive & June Farmer’s Market Collection Polish Set

We can’t tell you what’s in season at your weekend farmer’s market, but when it comes to your manicure, a strawberry red, carrot-juice orange, or lavender are all ripe for the picking. Olive & June‘s fresh spring collection comes in six shades — with names like Berry Basket (a soft turquoise), Not Kale (a chartreuse green), and This Lettuce is Radicchio (a sheer magenta) — that are available in a set or individually.

Hourglass Voyeur Eyeshadow Stick

Unless you’ve somehow cracked the code on how to add more hours to the day, chances are an extravagant eye look in the morning wasn’t doable… Not anymore. Allowing us to press the snooze button a few times and still look put together are these swipe-and-go Eyeshadow Sticks from Hourglass. The creamy texture is easy to blend with your fingers — and smudge-proof once it sets.

Guerlain The Floral Denim Collection

Similar to a great pair of jeans, we suspect you will get a lot of wear out of this Guerlain Rouge G Case in Blossom Jean, with floral frescoes by painter Laura Gulshani. Pop in your favorite shade of the brand’s lipstick and once you’ve finished every last swipe, refill it with another bullet.

Too Faced Italian Spritz Eyeshadow Palette

If a quick little jaunt to Lake Como is not in the cards, might we offer you a refreshing selection of 18 citrus-scented eye shadows inside the Too Faced Italian Spritz Eyeshadow Palette? For daytime, there are lots of matte-neutral shades like Toasted in Tuscany (a soft brown) and Spaghetti About It (a burnt-orange brown), but we’re most excited about the stunning shimmers like Cin Cin (a warm bronze) and Lake & Bake (a midnight blue).

MAC By Richard Quinn

British fashion designer Richard Quinn is known for his avant-garde creations and bold use of color, so a collaboration with MAC made a whole lot of sense. “I wanted to create a collection that reflects my love of English florals and Parisian couture,” Quinn says. Classics from the brand like MACStack Mascara and the famed Matte Lipstick are in full bloom for a limited time. The first thing we are reaching for: MAC by Richard Quinn Matte Lipstick in Vamp-tastic, a juicy, fuchsia.
