Colombian singers Karol G and Shakira came together to film their music video for “TQG,” which dropped on February 23, to the delight of their millions of fans. Karol G’s signature fiery red hair was gorgeous per usual and brightened our screens. Our eyes were also locked on Shakira’s colorful eye makeup, particularly her blue take on the reverse cat-eye trend.
The video started with Karol G singing on top of a building in a grey ensemble with her bright red hair flowing around her before she jumps. The music video then transitions to Shakira dressed in a blue chrome bodycon dress with a matching reverse cat eye and a high ponytail. For those unaware, a reverse cat eye involves a sharp winged liner that extends from the lower lash line instead of extending from the top. As Shakira sings and dances in her metallic dress, you can clearly see her blue-rimmed waterlines and the dramatic wing that almost reaches the tips of her eyebrows.
