As the child of Kim Kardashian and heir to the Kardashian family throne, North West has grown up around hairstylists and makeup artists, picking up tips and tricks before she could walk. The nine-year-old has been showing off her beauty prowess on TikTok with videos of her skincare routine, zombie makeup and hair tutorials. The latest addition to North’s ever-growing TikTok empire is the cutest one yet: a sister-sister styling video with five-year-old Chicago West where the dynamic duo styles each other’s edges.
The three-minute video features North and Chicago in what appears to be Kardashian’s dressing/glam room getting ready for their big tutorial moment. “What are we doing today?” North asks. “I’m going to do your edges!” exclaims Chicago. “And I’m gonna do your edges,” says her big sister. The sisters, who are each rocking pink braids with North in a half-and-half pink and white look and Chi in pastel pink, pull out their styling supplies: Eco Style Olive Oil Gel, Got 2b Glued Spiking Glue and an edge brush.
After some quick discussion about product order, Chicago gets to work first, grabbing “the yellow one” first and brushing down her older sister’s baby hairs with the focus and precision of a pro. As her little sister works, North lavishes her with praise. “This is so good, Chi,” she says. “Are you gonna be a hair person when you’re older?” Chi confirms that yes, she wants to “do people’s hair” when she grows up; she’s already getting good practice via her sister’s TikTok channel and we bet a hair makeover on mom Kim isn’t too far behind! Once she’s satisfied with her work, North takes over and styles Chicago, then both sisters show off their finished looks. They look adorable and their sister bond is so sweet and heartwarming that we could watch an entire day of these vids.
