When Nicole Kidman first hit the Hollywood scene in the early ’90s, she had an enviable head of red ringlet curls that became somewhat of a trademark for the star as her career blossomed. Throughout the years, Kidman experimented with different styles and shades of strawberry and lighter blonde, most recently with long blonde bombshell hair at the 2023 Oscars. However, it seems that Kidman just took a trip back in time, as her strawberry curls are back like it’s 1995 all over again.
Kidman shared a sweet series of photos on Instagram to debut the new color and style. In place of the long and straight pale blonde is a warm golden color styled in effortless ringlets, and it looks like she’s lost a bit of length too, as her hair now falls just past her shoulders. The color is a beautiful contrast against the pale blue of her short-sleeved dress and subtle pink lipstick. The color isn’t quite as red as her character in 1998’s Practical Magic nor as newscaster-chic as her strawberry bob in 1995’s To Die For, but it’s giving classic Kidman in the most delightful way.
