On October 4, Selena Gomez hosted the first Rare Impact Fund Benefit Supporting Youth Mental Health event in honor of the Rare Impact Fund, which donates a portion of sales to mental health resources and services. As host, she did not disappoint with her look — in fact, she stepped out with what looked like a freshly cut, shoulder-grazing bob.

For the event, Gomez paired the new cut with a sequined sleeveless gown and earrings that were just as sparkly. Los Angeles-based hairstylist Marissa Marino is responsible for the Only Murders in the Building actor’s lob. Marino chopped Gomez’s medium-length hair right at her shoulders so it just grazed her collarbones. Marino made sure that not a hair was out of place and that it was as straight as a needle. We definitely need the details on what products and hot tools she used to get this glossy, pin-straight lob.

Los Angeles-based makeup artist Melissa Murdick used Rare Beauty products for Gomez’s neutral glam. Murdick blended matte brown eye shadow in an angled shape that extended from her creases to her outer corners. Her cheeks had a faint pink flush, which we’re guessing was the result of Murdick using the Soft Pinch Liquid Blush in Bliss or Stay Vulnerable Melting Cream Blush in Nearly Neutral. Lastly, Murdick swiped a light tan gloss on her lips.
