I don’t know how often I need to say it, but Lizzo‘s looks during her Special Tour have given me nothing but life and beauty inspiration. After a month-long break following the European leg of the tour, the pop star hit the road again in mid-April. And she and her glam team came back in full swing with her looks. It’s no wonder I couldn’t keep my eyes off her vibrant orange hair at the 2023 New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival on April 28.
The “About Damn Time” singer headlined the music festival while wearing an all-blue outfit paired with her long orange hair. She kept the styling simple with a middle part and the rest of her hair cascading towards her knees. Describing this hair as bright would be an understatement. It basically looks like a neon orange highlighter.
Initially, I mistook this hair for a solid-colored wig, but once I got to see its full length, I noticed that the orange faded into white for an ombré effect. Her roots looked like a deeper pumpkin shade, but it’s hard to determine whether or not that was due to lighting. Either way, I should have known that Lizzo wouldn’t stop at just one vibrant color for a music festival appearance.
