During April, Mercury retrograde began, causing the usual travel delays, miscommunications, and exes sliding into your DMs. May starts with another planet going retrograde, although this backward dance is transformative and spiritual. On Monday, May 1, Pluto, the ruler of the underworld, goes retrograde in Aquarius and your 5th Hosue of Pleasure. While “ruler of the underworld” sounds scary, think of Pluto as the makeover planet. Since it’s going backward in your 5th House of Pleasure, expect to re-think your relationship to sexuality. There’s no wrong answer. Some Libras may expand their appetites (check out our list of common fantasies and kinks), and others may want to take a break from dating. Remember, whether you’re asexual or highly sexual, it’s totally normal and healthy. The goth planet Pluto’s retrograde aims to remind you of that.
While the first week of April sees you rethinking your relationship to sex, regardless of your desire levels or relationship status, consider staying in and taking it easy during the full moon and lunar eclipse in Scorpio on Friday, May 5.
