Kate Middleton is known for her warm brunette hair that typically cascades towards her chest in loose waves or curls. She rarely has a style other than her side-parted curls except for the occasional updo here and there. But that changed on September 12, when the royal was spotted with a middle part and voluminous curls that remind us of Farrah Fawcett’s iconic look from the 1970s.

With her polished waves, the Princess of Wales visited the charity HMP High Down in Sutton, England. Her brunette hair was parted down the middle as her hair rippled towards her waist. Her grown-out curtain bangs were curled away from her face, and you can see how the loop of the curl just barely grazed her cheekbones. Her roots had a ton of height, reminding us of Farrah Fawcett’s voluminous roots.

In the midst of the caramel brown curls, you can see streaks of a honey-blonde shade. Honestly, I need to see Middleton run her hands through this hair and give us one good hair commercial-worthy hair flip.
