Karol G Posed in Nothing But Mermaid Waves and a Hair Bow — See Photos

Honestly, I wish I was an anime character with naturally colorful hair. Wouldn’t it be cool as hell to have purple, pink, or orange hair sprouting from your scalp, or does that only excite me? My eyes zero in on colorful hair like a moth to a flame. So, unsurprisingly, I was wiping the drool off my mouth when I spotted Karol G’s pink reverse ombré hair that I’m dubbing strawberry milk.

The singer posted an Instagram slideshow with five photos of her rosy hair on June 27. She captioned her post, “Hazme un peinado lindo para ir a dar una vuelta por Paris,” which roughly translates to, “Give me a cute hairstyle so we can walk around Paris.” Pretty is a perfect descriptor for this messy half-up look tied with a big white bow. 

Hairstylist Cesar Ramirez has been styling her hair since her trip to France began, but it’s unclear whether or not he did this specific look. He created the pastel color using Yara Hair Extensions, and for a Jacquemus fashion show held on June 26, he used Rizos Curls products to form her mermaid waves. After washing her hair, he raked the Rizos Curls Light Hold Gel through her damp hair to lock the hair’s natural waves in place. Once it was fully air-dried, he added the Nourish Oil for Hair, Scalp, and Body to add shine and remove any white cast from the gel. Lastly, he spritzed Alcohol-Free Volumizing Hair Spray at her roots for some lift. 

All that said, it’s likely that the same products were used on her hair for her most recent look, or, alternatively, that her textured hair was just the result of leftover styling from the days prior.
