When Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck reunited and tied the knot 20 years after they began their initial high-profile relationship, romantics everywhere breathed a sigh of relief. It was true love! Now, the iconic celebrity couple is taking their commitment one step further with tattoos dedicated to their relationship, including Lopez’s first tattoo ever.
On Valentine’s Day, Lopez shouted out her man with a carousel of Instagram pics, including one of her fresh new tattoo still under its protective wrapping. The ink is nestled on Lopez’s ribcage and features the infinity symbol with an arrow through it, plus the names “Ben” and “Jennifer” in a dainty script font. Affleck, for his part, opted for a similar design of two arrows joined together with the letters “J” and “B.” “Commitment is sexy,” Lopez wrote in her post.
Lopez’s body art is a commitment indeed — the musician, actor and JLo Beauty founder has never gotten a tattoo before, so the fact that she inked Affleck’s name on her bod is a pretty big deal. Affleck, of course, has several tattoos, including the infamous phoenix back tattoo and a floral cross on one bicep. Lopez teased that she’d share more details about the tattoos on her newsletter, On The J Lo, soon, but she threw in a bunch of cute couple pics to keep fans happy in the meantime, including a few throwback shots from the Y2K era.
Lopez and Affleck were engaged in the 2000s before calling it quits in 2004 and going their separate ways, but they eventually reunited and got married in a late-night Las Vegas ceremony in July 2022 before throwing a giant bash at their home in Georgia, where Lopez wore several different Ralph Lauren gowns and a few different updos to match. If the multiple weddings and his-and-hers tattoos are any indication, it’s gonna be Bennifer forever!
