Her hair was pulled tightly back in a sleek, slicked-down chignon to keep all the focus on her face, namely that glimmering sea crystal eye, which was covered in a sheer wash of iridescent color all the way up to her brows for a subtly ethereal effect like the scales on a mermaid’s fantastical tail.
