In September, we noticed when Jane Fonda showed out with a new hairstyle: soft, loose curls. It was a big switch from her usual voluminous blowout, and it looks like those curls won’t be going anywhere anytime soon. For the 2023 Women’s Media Awards held on October 19 in New York City, the actor looked stunning with a black outfit with golden embellishments, her voluminous silver waves, and a satin red lip.
Fonda’s gray hair was parted down the middle and cascaded in loose waves that grazed her shoulders. They were glamourous, old Hollywood-style waves with a softness that meant they had either been brushed out or were lived in for a few days.
As for her makeup, she paired her bright lip with eyeliner; a thick black line jumps out from her lids. Some of that liner might have been used on her waterline, or alternatively, the lightly smoked-out color on her eyes was just remnants of her mascara. Her cheekbones were dusted with a red-toned blush.
Last but not least, we have this bright red lipstick that has coral undertones. We don’t know the exact shade she used, but we do have recommendations for a few lip products that are similar shades — L’Oreal’s Colour Riche Satin Lipstick in Volcanic, Revlon’s Super Lustrous Lipstick in Soft Silver Red, and Dior’s Addict Lipstick in 536 Lucky are great options.
