Welcome to September, Gemini. Last month, your ruling planet Mercury went retrograde. Thankfully, that pesky backward dance comes to an end this month, and it’s not the only one. The planet Venus does direct on Sunday, September 3, in Leo and your 3rd House of Communication. While Venus is retrograde, we have an easier time getting away with putting off assessing actual compatibility. After all, summer is made for flings. However, now that Venus is direct, she calls you on your crap. Did you lead anyone on? You may have found a partnership that makes you content, but does it ignite all the passion that a celebrity like you needs? Frankly, you’re too good of a catch to coast. When Venus goes direct, she demands that you communicate directly and honestly with any romantic interests about your needs, whatever they are unique to your situation.
The next day, on Monday, September 4, Jupiter, the planet of expansion, goes retrograde in Taurus and your 12th House of the Unconscious. This retrograde gives us a chance to take a hard look at our past mistakes and finally learn from them. You have to ask yourself tough questions, including why you sometimes settle for less than you deserve. This lesson is reiterated (the stars really want to see you grow this September, Gemini) when Pallas, the “asteroid of wisdom,” enters Libra and your 5th House of Pleasure on Wednesday, September 13. Both transits demand that you grow up, accept how hot you are, and only settle for a relationship as one-of-a-kind as you are.
