Florence Pugh has proven with her recent red-carpet appearances that short hair doesn’t have to limit your styling options. The actor’s chin-grazing bob has been twisted, swept, slicked, and pinned into numerous intricate updos. For her latest event, however, she let her hair down instead and took some styling notes from the 1960s for her bob and blunt but soft bangs

She wore her retro bob and bangs with a gorgeous seafoam-green gown on April 27 to celebrate the reopening of Tiffany & Co.’s New York City flagship store. The bob in question was a bright blonde with her darker brunette roots showing at her crown. The blonde hair was straight, except for the ends, which were curled inward to emulate that ’60s style.

Those bumped ends added volume and body to her hair, a longer bob that ended right at her upper back. Her bangs were also curled at the very ends and nearly covered her eyebrows, but you can still see those dark arches peeking true.

Pugh kept her makeup on the minimal side. Her eyes were lined with black liner and a pink-nude gloss coated her lips. Her flush was so subtle, I can’t tell if her cheeks were buffed with blush or if it was her own natural skin peeking through.

Though Pugh’s updos have been stunning, this ‘60s-inspired bob and bangs might just be her best look yet.
