Cardi B celebrated Mother’s Day like any mother should — with her family while wearing a black cutout dress, the most dramatic boots known to humankind, and straight blonde hair adorned with temporary tattoos. When I first saw photos of the Bronx-raised rapper, I immediately thought of the TikTok audio that goes something like, “I’m a bad bitch first and a mom second.”
She looked stunning with her pin-straight blonde hair. It was so light that it looked almost white from some angles. The longest pieces of this sleek hair grazed her thigh.
From the front, this hair looks rather simple until you see the tattoos of a gun and roses on one side of her hair. Her go-to hairstylist Tokyo Stylez gave her Instagram fans a behind-the-scenes video showing how she created this edgy style on May 14. Stylez started the short clip by showing one of the temporary tattoos she used on the rapper’s blonde hair. She stuck the tattoo sheet onto Cardi’s hair, making sure to smooth it down. Then, with a wet sponge, she lightly dabbed the paper to adhere the tattoo. She continued the same process with the rest of the tattoos, showing in detail how she applied a second rose tattoo above the gun.
