There are two things Cardi B will always do: make you laugh and serve a look. On July 3, she did the latter for the Schiaparelli Fall 2023 couture show. The Bronx-raised rapper looked like a dream in her all-black outfit from the fashion brand that included a velvet head cap, from which a low, braided bun snuck out.
Cardi B wore a Schiaparelli strapless black gown that had golden details and paired it with a massive feather-esque cape. She accessorized with opulent gold jewelry and a head cap that covered half her forehead. Initially, it reminded me of when she wore an Emilio Pucci hooded jumpsuit that covered everything but her blunt bangs back in May.
With this look, her hair was hidden completely at the front. From the back, you can see her braided bun with wisps of hair poking out. If you look real close, you can even see a bobby pin sticking out from the bun.

Her go-to makeup artist Erika La’Pearl blended brown eye shadow on Cardi’s lids to create a cut crease. She drew a sharp, long, and thin cat eye and lined her lower lash line with a black liner, too. She traced the rapper’s lips with a dark brown liner and filled them in with a pink-nude lip gloss.
Her nails were just as minimalist as her makeup. The long tips were filed into a square shape and were painted with white polish. The color looked like an opaque chalk white rather than the softer milk bath manicure, which has resurged in popularity recently among celebrities, including Kourtney Kardashian.
