Since announcing her latest single, Cardi B has been beyond overjoyed for fans to finally hear what she’s been working on. The day before dropping the news, she teased the upcoming release in an Instagram clip in which she strutted toward the camera in a white bodysuit and cherry red curls that drifted towards her waist. Just a few days later, she gathered those big curls into a low ponytail that reminded us of that one scene in the 1989 The Little Mermaid in which Ariel wears an eerily similar style.
She first introduced her bouncy red hair on September 4, and she posted the video showing her undone ponytail to her Instagram Stories the following day. Though she pulled most of her hair into the messy low ponytail, the volume and lift from her previous hairstyle remained. Her shorter, face-framing layers formed a pouf at the front of her hair. She swept her ponytail to the side, so you could see the leftover curled ends that fell towards her chest.
