As for Mendes’s skin-care advice to others? “What works for somebody else might not work for you — there is no ‘one size fits all’ in skin care,” she says. “Pay attention to how your skin responds to each product you try, and curate a routine that’s specific to your own needs.”

Ahead, Camila Mendes shares her favorite skin care products for Glamour’s Drop the Routine.

My cleansers

Sunday Riley Blue Moon Clean-Rinse Cleansing Balm

Good Light Cosmic Dew Water Cleanser

If I’m wearing a full face of makeup I’ll usually rinse that off first using Sunday Riley’s Blue Moon Clean-Rinse Cleansing Balm.

Then I’ll follow up with Good Light’s Cosmic Dew Water Cleanser, which I recently started using. I love how clean and gentle it is. It doesn’t dry out my skin and keeps my skin barrier intact, and if there’s anything I’ve learned since becoming creative director at Loops, it’s the importance of preserving your skin’s natural barrier.

My toners

KD Wipe Away the Day Acne Treatment Pads

Eminence Organics Stone Crop Hydrating Mist

I swear by Dr. Kay’s Wipe Away the Day Treatment Pads. They provide my skin with much-needed exfoliation after a long day of wearing heavy makeup on set, and I’ll often follow that up with a soothing Loops mask, like Night Shift

The Eminence Organics Stone Crop Hydrating Mist is also one of my recent favorites. I like to spray a few spritzes of that on a cotton pad and wipe my face with it after cleansing. Not only does it remove all the extra product residue on my skin, but it also smells incredible.

My moisturizer

I’m really obsessed with my Tatcha Water Cream. It’s not heavy, so I know my skin is still doing its own work. I don’t like when moisturizers overcompensate for what your skin should be doing for itself. The Water Cream is thin but also hydrating, so it’s the perfect combination.

My eye mask

I don’t always get the best sleep when I have really early call times, and the dark circles under my eyes are often the biggest indicators of that. After I’ve applied moisturizer in the morning, I’ll pop on our Loops Under Eye Mask as I get dressed for work and pack up my things. Before heading out the door, I’ll peel them off and massage the remaining serum into my skin. Right away I can tell my eyes look noticeably brighter and rejuvenated.

My face masks

I’ll often use a Loops mask during the serum step in my routine, since most of them function as serums. I’ll choose one depending on what my skin needs most that day, whether that’s Hyper Smooth for my hyperpigmentation, Clean Slate to help clear a breakout, or Sunrise Service to depuff and brighten my skin in the morning.
