In keeping with her current pastel aesthetic, Grande also skipped her previously beloved bold winged liner in favor of a shimmery holographic pink and white shadow across her lids and lush lashes, blonde brows and a glossy lip. Grande also applied a similar shimmery highlight shade to the tip of her nose to really glow on camera. (She did, however, stick to her fave French manicure, which you can see as she goes through the new holiday products.)
The musician has been vocal about her changing attitudes about beauty, recently telling Vogue that her relationship to makeup and injectibles has evolved over the years. “I, over the years, used makeup as a disguise or as something to hide behind. More and more and more hair, more and more thicker — the eyeliner — and that can be so beautiful at times, and I still do have love for it,” she shared. “But I think as I get older, I don’t love that being the intention behind it anymore. I think of it as self-expression now and accentuating what is here. Our relationships to beauty are so personal.” Whether this new hair-down style is a signal of a new era for Grande, a nod to Glinda or just a way to freshen up her look, we’re so here for it.
