Picture this: You’re hanging out at home or in a very fancy Airbnb or hotel room, wearing your prettiest loungewear or lingerie and enjoying some much-needed quiet time. How are you wearing your hair? If you’re Jennifer Lopez, any old topknot or ponytail simply will not do. Instead, the star lounged in luxury wearing her hair in an updo so tousled and undone, it barely qualifies as an updo — but that’s the fun of it!
Lopez collaborated with Italian intimates line Intimissi on a capsule collection called “This Is Me…Now,” inspired by her forthcoming album of the same name. In the photos, Lopez poses in a variety of gorgeous lingerie; first, her warm, light brunette hair is styled in the aforementioned sexy-yet-casual updo to really convey the feeling of effortless glamour and sensuality. It’s the kind of updo you create without meaning to, as though you’re twisting your hair up to get it off your neck and pinning it loosely, then realizing that this may just be the sexiest hairstyle of all time. Lopez’s hair is parted in the center with pieces pulled out to frame her face, and the rest of her hair pulled up and back, then gently pinned in a messy twist.
