Zendaya has your spring manicure inspo sorted. The Euphoria star’s manicurist, Marina Dobic, just treated us to the prettiest “your nails but better” mani and even shared the exact nail polish she used on Zendaya so you can create a similar look at home this weekend.
Dobic shared a short video of Z’s new nails, which are the textbook definition of simple chic. They’re shaped into gentle squovals and painted a subdued shade of milky pink — CND Shellac Gel Polish in Backyard Nuptials, to be exact. According to Dobic, she prepped Zendaya’s nails with a file and cuticle nippers from Navy, then used the “last bits” of a now-discontinued CND base coat before painting on a few coats of the shiny neutral pink color.

Once Z’s nails were painted and dried, Dobic took the perfection one step further, finishing with a combo of Byredo’s Luxury Hand Cream and Diptyque’s Satin Oil for Body and Hair to lavish her skin with moisture. If you look closely, you can also see a sweet shoutout to Zendaya’s boyfriend Tom Holland; she’s wearing a gold signet ring engraved with his initials!
While milky pink nails never go out of style (paging the eternal fave Essie Ballet Slippers!), the “your nails but better” trend has been a celeb fave for the red carpet and beyond. Jennifer Lopez put her spin on the TikTok “lip gloss nails” look with a nude mani with glittering silver tips, and stars like Selena Gomez and Margot Robbie have rocked the sparkly “naked disco” manicure, a neutral mani with either a light layer of glitter or, in Gomez’s case, full-on Swarovski crystals. Kim Kardashian also tried her hand at milky nails with a square-tipped mani in a light neutral shade. Now that Zendaya has given the versatile manicure her stamp of approval, we certainly won’t be surprised if it becomes the biggest trend of 2023.
