The release date for the Disney Plus series She-Hulk starring Tatiana Maslany has seemingly been revealed.
Marvel Studios’ newest Disney Plus series Moon Knight just concluded its six-episode run. Now, all eyes are on the upcoming series including Ms. Marvel, She-Hulk, and Secret Invasion. In regards to the second series mentioned, the show will star Orphan Black actress Tatiana Maslany as Jennifer Walters, the cousin to one Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo).
Although She-Hulk has reportedly had issues behind-the-scenes, the Tatiana Maslany-led series may have a release date already. On Disney’s United Kingdom page focusing on Marvel on Disney Plus, a description for the new series also includes a release date: August 17. The description reads as follows:
This new comedy series sees Bruce Banner help his cousin, Jennifer Walters, when she needs an emergency blood transfusion and guess what? She receives his powers too. Tatiana Maslany will play Jennifer, who is a lawyer specialising in superhuman-oriented legal cases. Mark Ruffalo is back as the Hulk alongside Tim Roth, who plays the Abomination.
Last summer, Marvel Studios debuted Loki, Black Widow and What If…?, all of which had left their own mark on Disney Plus. This summer, the MCU continues to expand thanks to the Moon Knight finale, the recent release of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, the upcoming release of Thor: Love and Thunder, and the upcoming premiere of Ms. Marvel on Disney Plus. If She-Hulk is in fact premiering on Disney Plus this coming August, that would be another great way for the franchise to conclude the summer.
She-Hulk stars Tatiana Maslany as Jennifer Walters, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner, Jameela Jamil as Titania, and Tim Roth as the Abomination.
She-Hulk will debut on Disney Plus in 2022. Stay tuned for all the latest news surrounding the upcoming Marvel series, and be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more original video content.
