It’s been over two years since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle decided to step away from the duties that are expected of a duke and duchess in the royal family. But that doesn’t mean Markle has forgotten how to serve royal event-appropriate looks.
Now based in California, the couple went to London to attend Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee, celebrating her unprecedented 70 years of service in the British monarchy. Although Markle has been able to dress with a more casual elegance and literally let her hair down while living in the U.S., she snapped right back into royal form with her look for the event.
Markle was seen with her super long brown hair almost entirely hidden by a large, white hat designed by Stephen Jones for Dior. (Her entire white ensemble was Dior.) Although some angles might have you thinking that her hair was entirely tucked into the hat, she wore an understated, low bun.
