Reed Richards, as portrayed by John Krasinski in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness was finally included in some MCU merchandise.

Marvel Studios’ newest film, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness has been in theaters for over a month now, and although some fans are still somewhat split in regards to the film’s quality, that hasn’t stopped discussions regarding one of the film’s biggest revelations: The Illuminati. When Stephen Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) finds himself in Earth-838, he encounters this team that includes the introduction of Professor Charles Xavier (Patrick Stewart) and Reed Richards (John Krasinski) in the MCU.

Given that Marvel Studios wanted to preserve some of the secrets regarding the new Doctor Strange film, merchandise featuring The Illuminati, particularly with John Krasinski’s Reed Richards has yet to be seen. However, a new T-shirt from Redwolf features Earth-838’s powerful team in silhouettes, including the smartest man in the universe. You can check out the design down below:

The Fantastic Four will be making their official MCU debut in a film that currently is without a director following the departure of Jon Watts (Spider-Man: No Way Home). Given that audiences were just introduced to John Krasinski as Reed Richards, some are wondering if he will be playing an Earth-616 Variant of Mr. Fantastic, given that the version we see as part of The Illuminati was turned into spaghetti by Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen).

John Krasinski’s brief performance as Reed Richards received mixed reviews from fans, with some seeing it as a wasted opportunity for a popular fan-casting, while others were also unimpressed with the actor’s performance as the character. Either way, perhaps if he were given the chance to portray the character in the official MCU Fantastic Four reboot, he will get to showcase his chops more than what was seen in his small role as part of The Illuminati.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is now playing in theaters, and is set to hit Disney Plus on June 22, 2022.
