The cast of Fast and Furious 10 continues to grow with the addition of The Suicide Squad star Daniela Melchior.
TheWrap reports that Daniela Melchior has joined the cast of Universal’s Fast and Furious 10, which is gearing up to begin filming this Spring under the helm of Justin Lin. Details about Melchior’s Fast 10 role are being kept under wraps.
Daniela Melchior is a Portuguese actress who made her English-language debut in the James Gunn-directed The Suicide Squad, playing Cleo Cazo AKA Ratcatcher II. She will next be seen in the action film Assassin Club opposite Henry Golding and Noomi Rapace.
Earlier this month, Aquaman star Jason Momoa revealed that he is set to play the villain of Fast and Furious 10, making Daniela Melchior the second major addition to the film’s cast. “It’s fun, I get to play the bad guy, which I haven’t gotten to do for a while. Now, I get to be the bad boy. A very flamboyant bad boy,” Momoa told Entertainment Tonight.
Vin Diesel and the rest of the main Fast and Furious crew are expected to return for the tenth installment alongside Charlize Theron, who plays the villainous Cipher. Diesel has made it public that he wants Dwayne Johnson to reprise his role as Luke Hobbs for the film, but the wrestler-turned-actor turned down his proposal in December 2021.
