Bryce Dallas Howard returned to helm another episode of The Mandalorian for season three.
At the Lucasfilm Studio Showcase panel on Thursday, audience members got their first look at The Mandalorian season three, which has already completed filming and arrives next February. According to The Hollywood Reporter, fan-favorite Bryce Dallas Howard returned to direct another episode in the upcoming season.
Bryce Dallas Howard has two episodes of The Mandalorian to her name with “Sanctuary” in season one and season two’s “The Heiress.” Howard also helmed a Mando-centric episode of The Book of Boba Fett.
Filoni Directing Ahsoka
Meanwhile, The Hollywood Reporter also shared that Dave Filoni would be directing a “handful” of episodes for his Ahoska series. Ahsoka is currently in production with a behind-the-scenes video of Rosario Dawson from the set shown during the Lucasfilm Studio Showcase panel. It’s also been previously reported that Spider-Man: In the Spider-Verse‘s Peter Ramsey is directing an episode.

The series stars Pedro Pascal, Giancarlo Esposito, Temuera Morrison, Katee Sackhoff, Ming-Na Wen, Bill Burr, Timothy Olyphant and Carl Weathers, with Rosario Dawson joining the series as Ahsoka Tano ahead of her spin-off series. The project was created by Jon Favreau and executive produced by Dave Filoni, with episodes directed by Rick Famuyiwa, Bryce Dallas Howard, Peyton Reed, Carl Weathers and Robert Rodriguez.
