Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom star Amber Heard was allegedly banned from DC FanDome and the sequel’s upcoming poster.

Amber Heard is currently in the midst of a very public legal battle with ex-husband Johnny Depp. In the trial, it’s been revealed that Heard’s role in Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom has been cut down with the actress fearing she won’t make the final cut.

DC FanDome Ban

A first look at Aquaman and the Lost Kingdon was shown during DC FanDome back in October. Amber Heard was nowhere to be seen at the event despite reprising her role as Mera, and Hollywood insider Kathryn Arnold claimed on the stand during the trial on Monday it was because she was banned from promoting the sequel at the virtual event. Arnold shared that Heard won’t be included on the poster either:

“Ms. Heard was not invited to be either in the poster or to be at the [FanDome] event, and in fact they told her she cannot come.”

Here is the synopsis for Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom:

When an ancient power is unleashed, Aquaman must forge an uneasy alliance with an unlikely ally to protect Atlantis, and the world, from irreversible devastation.

Directed by James Wan, the upcoming sequel stars Jason Momoa as Arthur Curry/Aquaman, Amber Heard as Mera, Patrick Wilson as Orm / Ocean Master, Dolph Lundgren as Nereus, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Black Manta, Nicole Kidman as Atlanna, Temuera Morrison as Arthur Curry, Randall Park as Dr. Stephen Shin, Vincent Regan as Atlan, Jani Zaho as Stingray, Indya Moore as Karshon, and Game of Thrones star Pilou Asbæk in an unknown role.
